Serena Williams Outburst Tirade Video to Line Judge What did Serena Williams say?
Serena Williams is set to become the issue of an in-depth investigation after launching into a disrespectful outburst that prompted her departure out of the U.S. Open 2009.
According to various reports says that Serena Williams will be asked to give explanation her actions and comments toward a female line judge at the ending of her semifinal defeat to Kim Clijsters on Saturday night. A source publicized that representatives from tennis’ governing body – the International Tennis Federation – plus associates of the Grand Slam Committee, which keep an eye on the four major tournaments – will set up along with U.S. Open referee Brian Earley on Sunday.

According to the AP Report, Serena Williams shout at the official, “If I could, I would take this … ball and shove it down your … throat,” Serena Williams said.

Rules are rules no matter who you are. In other sports (e.g. basketball, football, baseball), you can be penalized for just LOOKING at an umpire/referee in a menacing manner. You can even be thrown out.
In Serena’s case, the line judge was absolutely correct. Correct in the foot fault call and correct in consulting the chair umpire.
Serena was way off base and should have garnered a suspension of some sort.
