MTV Video Music Awards in the name of its yearly pat-on-the-back fest. Yet in spite of an opening respect to Michael Jackson, the broadcast isn’t so much about honoring as it is about endorse.
MTV VMAs appear to be a bit of a “Twilight” show. There’s Ashley Green in the pre-show, Muse on the live telecast and an extensive trailer for “Twilight: New Moon” at some point in between.
