Diane Borchardt was a former teacher’s assistant study hall observes at Jefferson High School in Wisconsin. Diane was finding guilty of hiring three of her students to murder her separated husband, Ruben Borchardt on Easter early morning in 1994. The Borchardts were wedded in October 1979. Ruben Borchardt had just lost his first wife the mother of his two children in a car accident previous in the year. For the next 14 years both Ruben and his kids were living with Diane, and the Borchardts had a daughter jointly. Ruben did not hit or neglect Diane. Late in 1993 Ruben fell in love with a lady who had lent him to do some cabinet work for her and he certain that he wanted a separation from Diane. Throughout the divorce procedures, Ruben won title to their house, and Diane was given one month to leave the property. Diane then began request some of her students for the work of killing Ruben, gift them cars and $20,000 ransom money from Ruben’s life insurance policy. One of them Douglas Vest, finally agreed to do it and enlist a couple of associates to help him. On the eve of the murder, Diane intentionally picked a fight with Ruben and told police that she was leaving the residence, therefore giving herself an explanation. The after that morning, around 3:30 AM, while Ruben and his son ready to go to the Easter Sunrise Service at their church Diane’s students bust into the residence and shot Ruben two times with a sawed-off shotgun, now as he was going up the stairs to acquire his son out of bed. Ruben Borchardt was taken to a hospital, where he pass away some hours later. Diane got away with the offence for about six months, until one of the gunmen told ‘the wrong person’ concerning his participation in the crime, and concerned Diane as the planner of the plot.
